Maths is a core subject which supports and develops learning across many other curriculum areas, including Science, Geography, Business Studies, Engineering, and ICT. The study of Maths is helpful in developing life skills, such as confidence in handling data and numbers, resilience, as well as logical, and problem solving techniques.

Here at Wadebridge, we believe in developing students’ independence and resilience through a variety of teaching methods to suit all learning styles. On top of a vibrant and engaging mathematics curriculum, we offer opportunities for students to participate in a range of activities such as the maths challenges – team and individual, university experiences, supporting our primary partner schools in competitions and events, visits to listen to guest speakers and much more.
